I'm sure your right Tom, doesn't make sense to put $800.00 + into a 40 yr
old trailer. Checkmate is a whole different animal, 50 mph plus in two foot
seas but narrow and unsteady going slow. Would liked to have kept both but
only have room for one boat. The Evinrude is more suited for taking the
family and grandson out. Now all I have to do is get it home.
