Thanks for all the advice! I found the wiring diagrams very useful. I had
actually seen the one on hhscott.com before but had forgot about it. I
will try to stay within the color codes but I'm hoping to get by with only
doing the engine compartment from the harness out. Only the starter, coil,
temp gage, oil pressure, tilt solenoids, and electric fuel pump. I plan to
cut them off at the harness leaving enough of the original wire to trace it
back to the helm. Maybe between the grease, heat shrink tubing, and some
good wire, I can stay out of trouble for a while. I'll post some pictures
as I go so you guys can make suggestions.
