[omc-boats] 1970 120HP Water Pump shaft and other parts advice

Hey all!

Finally got the press on ball gears and have them
installed on the proper shafts...now working on the
water pump area and lower unit and need some advice--
The Water Pump Shaft is tweaked somewhat and I want to
go ahead and replace it--the original part number from
what I see stamped on the shaft is a 343222--does that
supercede to a sierra 908087 (the long shaft) I have
searched and searched and cannot find a good cross
reference to state this to be true.

Also, has anyone ever bought a seal kit (Like the
sierra 981799) and know if it includes all the orings
and the large square ring between the middle and lower
housing?
Other than removing some stubborn corrosion from the
housings, everything is looking ok and hopefully will
get it in the water soon...
