[omc-boats] Re: omc-boats-digest V1 #524

I used a mix and pour polyurethane foam that is closed cell and compatible
with epoxy resins that I bought from an online source called Fiber Glast. It
is labled 24/25 and I used 2 gallons of each for a total of 4 gallons that
will cost a couple hundred bucks. Start with a small amount and order more
if needed. It is dead on like the original. It works fast and is fun to play
with. Go to Home Depot and get some of those graduated polyethylene cups and
buckets to measure and mix the stuff. They are reusable if you want to take
the trouble. You can do a lot with any that you have left over. The company
gives good service and the stuff is shipped to your doorstep in several days
and is fresh material. I bought all the stuff to do the floor including
resins, glass cloth and tools to spread the resins. What fun!!! Lots of time
and money but go price a new boat and its taxes for a little incentive! Tom
