Well, I got the steal of a lifetime on that paint job. And the guy who
did it swore never again after. And yes, both hull and top part are
painted. The upper is flake. Clear coat over it all. I hate the green
- not the color I was going for, but it's 10 times better than the
original faded blue!

How was that boat painted and what type of paint is it? Was it done at
an
autobody paint shop? Is the hull original gelcoat or was it painted
too?

I'm looking at options for painting my boat. It's two bare
fibreglass-only
sections right now so it will be easy to spray paint in a shop booth.
Any
info regarding quality, cost, difficulty, etc. of paint finishes from
anyone on the list is appreciated.

Yep....not quite the color I had hoped it would turn out to be, but I'm
getting used to it. :)
