Thanks for this however one of the other site members (Greg) did send me a
scan for a '64 on Wednesday night. I went ahead and using it as a guide I
pieced together what I had on hand and incredibly it works ! I wish I had
gone this route earlier in the summer and saved myself the expense of using
NOS parts for the '66 system - they lasted less than 10 running hours. I
use this boat/engine for my cottage maintenance business and rack up a lot
of running time in a hurry (about 500 hours between May and November).
Thanks again for your response and willingness to help. This is a great
site for those of us who appreciate the old OMCs. I've been a longtime
convert to these engines - my dad was a Merc dealer for 25 years so I grew
up around all this stuff.
