Shaun,

My guess is you could try just about any MARINE-rated electric fuel
pump designed for smaller capacity engines of approximately 1500 cc
displacement ( 80 to 120 hp). Pumps are spec'd not only in pressure
(PSI) but also rate of flow capacity (GPH - gals/hr).

Can you get the identification numbers off the fuel pump? I remember
OMC's original source (was it Bendix?) stopped production around 66-67
and they switched to a secondary source (was it Carter?) for the last
year or two these little V-4's were in production.

You can also look up the OMC Part number (having access to hardcopy
parts catalogs is helpful) but it may be listed online as well. The
problem is since the V-4 2-strokes were very similar to their outboard
brothers/sisters the third-party manuals don't cover them very well.
But many sources will list compatibility with OMC part numbers, or you
can search eBay by OMC part number and sometimes find a brand new old
stock part in a dealer inventory.

But play it smart and safe and get a MARINE-approved electric fuel
pump. Don't risk an explosion with a automotive pump.
