Just curious, why 10W-30? I have always used straight 30 in my boats, but I use them in a fairly modest range of (outside) temperatures.

Just think of your OMC 120 has a GM 1967 Chevy II 2.5L 4 cylinder (very similar except for marine specifics, like manifolds, carbs, electrics).
FRAM PH-30 or similar for the Oil filter. Your favorite 10W-30 motor oil (NOT 2-STROKE) will work fine. Change both at the end of the season or every 50 hrs of engine running time.

What type of oil and filter do you use for a 1967 Sportsman 120?
