Thanks Lee - I will do these tests. Probably will take tach to auto
store for test. Thanks for compliment on dash. Of course now after
buttoning and strap tying everything all nice and neatly behind the
instrument cluster, I now get to dismantle it so I can get the back
of my speedo and tach - yay! I put enough slack in there so in
theory i can sort of lay it on my lap if removed. We'll see. I
probably should have tested both speedo and tach before installing but
i was in such a rush to get them in and see how they looked -
