I too use the clear plastic hoses on my 1970 Seasport.
Purchased mine from Lowes and as you may discover there is thin wall and
thick wall type. The pressures and temp limits are stamped on the hose. I
used the thick wall on all four connections and keep an eye on them at every
outing.
