Rather than change the switches and add wiring, I just hooked a new bilge pump and a new in-line blower in parallel to the wires that used to go to the combined unit. Yes, they both go on at once, just like before, but no big deal, right? Surely those little Attwood pumps can run while dry for a minute or two while the blower is doing its thing.

I guess I'm satisfied with this partly because I keep my boat on a lift, or on a trailer, so no need for a float switch.
