1966 Sportsman 150 Top & Covers

I'm trying to duplicate the original (missing) front tonneau cover, as well as the top
on a 1966 Sportsman 150.

I've pretty well figured out how to duplicate the original front tonneua cover; but
aan anyone help me figure out what the rear motor bulk head snaps were used for?

I'm guessing the rear jumpseats had seat cushions? And the bulkhead snaps are there to
stow the top assembly when folded down and not in use?

If anyone could snap some closeup digital photos of this detail-- I'd be grateful.
