If we are to assume your Buick-designed (Kaiser Jeep Built after 1966) is
original, then it is indeed an ODD-FIRE. Buick bought the rights back from
AMC afetr the acquired Kaiser Jeep. When the began production of the the V6
in 1974-75 it was redesigned with a different crankshaft and became an
EVEN-FIRE design.

Someone ought to try the Pertronix on an odd-fire. If it retains the
original-design rotor from the odd-fire distributor it might work (despite
what they claim.
