RE: [omc-boats] venting the cowling

So if the engine runs better with vents, now I am wondering why they
didn't put them in originally? Noise? Or is there some special
marine/safety issue with venting it?

It wouldn't hurt anything to put a vent in - but I think I would put it
on the port side of the cowling - where the carb is located since you
wouldn't see it there - Dave
