Are you sure the block is cracked or are you just assuming it did? Make
sure the water jacket in the exhaust manifold has not rusted through. That
can happen with older inboards. If the manifold is bad, get the water out
of the cylinders right away so it won't rust. Good luck with that. A
manifold is cheaper then a whole engine.
