[OMC-Boats] Rogue cover

Your best bet is to get a large piece of waterproof canvas or pvc to cover
the entire topside. The cover will tend to collect water in the center part
and can dip down with enough weight to tear the cover. I built a support out
of 1" PVC to keep a convex upward bow of the cover so water runs off. The
support has 4 legs and cross members to give it stability and it has side
arms to support. I bought 8 foot long fiberglass lightweight corrugated
roofing panels that are approx. 3 ft wide to use as a support. It needs to
be easy to remove so you spend your time on the boat and not messing with
its cover. You can have stuff made if you got the money and I have done that
but the covers are good for maybe 5 years out in the elements. The Nielsen
(?sp) people are no longer in business and they made a mooring cover that
was quite nice but they are canvas and perish easily. They also originally
made the tops and side curtains and let that go. A shame but maybe they will
get it back together again. I can send pictures of the cover and apparatus
if you think you might want to do that. You might get some canvas from a
sail shop or a trucking company. TK
