1968 Evinrude Sportsman 16' I/O 120 h.p. dual carb. Boat has been in storage for 10 years. Original interior in very good condition. Original top and side and rear curtains. Gel coat is in good condition and would clean up very well. Motor runs but will require carb work. I have carb kits for them. Lower unit is in good condition. Sorry no trailer. Asking $1500.00 CDN. 1965 Evinrude Sport 16' with 1984 115HP Evinrude outboard. Runs good. Original trailer, teleflex steering, bimini top with boot, bow cover, Hummingbird depth recorder, compass, VHF radio, ski mirror, re-upholstered original seats with quick-release mounts, spare tire. Well, I am going to sell the family jewel after thirty-six years of happy boating. In 1965 my father bought an OMC Deluxe 17 Tri-Hull runabout (In the US they called it the Johnson 17 Deluxe runabout) with the 150HP Buick V6 engine in it. I was 16 years old at the time, and for the next 10 years the boat got it's annual two week workout. It was the stored away in a heated garage for the rest of the year. Eventually the boat remained stored for another ten years. At this time it was passed down to my brother who with his kids used it about three weeks a year on his vacation. The boat still looked good but was starting to show it's years in places. My brother then decided to restore her to her original condition and spent $18,000 Canadian Dollars in restoration. Everything was redone with only qualified workers. Engine was totally rebuilt to new, boat repainted, newly covered seats, gas tank tak= en out and refurbished, new lines, parts, whatever was needed. I finally got the boat two years ago and immediately spent $5000.00 Canadian dollars on her. Custom made cover, New brakes and tires for trailer, electric winch etc.etc. Well, my kids don't want to boat so I am going to sell her.
Some facts:
I will let any interested buyer have her for $6000.00 US Dollars. Pickup or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I have for sale a Johnson inboard boat for sale. It is 19 feet long and has the buick 231 ci v6 for a power plant. It has the walk through front windshield to seats out front. This boat was my grandfathers who purchased it from Kowaliga Marine at Lake Martin, near Alexander City, Alabama. This is a one owner boat. Used in freshwater only. The last it ran was 1993, and it had electrical alternator problems. Also the lower unit foot is not in the best of condition. There is also a very heavy duty trailer with this boat. 1969 Evinrude Rogue II 210 (Model #441506-A. 307ci V8) The boat is in excellent shape and runs great. It does however need some upper outdrive work which I do not have the money to complete. It needs new gears, driveshafts, and possibly casing for the uppermost part of the outdrive. I have the original trailer in excellent condition complete with evinrude hubcaps, surge brakes, and electric winch. Everything else works great and I used it for four years without problem until this incident. I winterize the boat each year and it has never spent a winter outdoors. $1,000 or b.o. 210 hp I/O with power tilt. The original chevy 307 ci engine was professionally rubuilt in 1998 with new pistons, rings, timing gear and timing chain, push rods, lifters, cam shaft and gasket set.
