Actually Lee, it may seem like we are a hardy lot, but in truth it was
72 degrees inside my houseboat and I admit, we were putting ice cubes in
our drinks - the mississippi river from Red Wing Minnesota to the head
of Lake Pepin, about 13 miles, is kept open by the Treasure Island Nuke
plant - from the plant to Lake Pepin the plant heats two channels that
give me approximately 28 miles of river to boat on all year - Ah yes,
tis the life! Dave
