Yes sir,m and I will invest in service and parts manuals, as soon as I can. After 17yrs. as a heavy equipment road mech., restoring several antique autos, and a couple of antique outboards, those manuals are an invaluable source and need to be invested in. It seems in my area that there were not very many of these type of boats ever around. Luckily, we found another one for parts. had to drive 300 mls. to get it though.
The biggest thing I was looking for was the location ports, once all these are located, I can chk. and see what type of oil they have. Old boat is running strong almost finished the interior, got to locate a thermostat then were headed to the lake. Will post pics. once its through.

Todd,
Don't want to sound like I'm preaching -- But you really ought invest in a OMC factory servive manual, a Clymer service manual or a Seloc service manual or better yet get all three!
Actual refill capacities vary by year and application, which is why it helps to have reference materials.
But the following come quickly to mind:
All 4-stroke engines have crankcase oil
All (2-stroke or 4-stroke) Stringer Sterndrives have:
Tilt Trunnion Bearings
Tilt Clutch gear case
Tilt Quadrant gear
Intermediate Housing
Upper gearcase
Lower gearcase
Swivel bearing
Steering actuator shaft

Hopefully, someone can help me, not used to inboards quite yet, always dealt with outboards. Got a '67 reveler 155, can anyone tell me what fluids go where in the stern drive unit.
Todd
