Gentlemen, I agree completely. Those manuals are printed for a reason, for us to gain more knowledge about what the hell were doing. I personally just haven't went and ordered a set yet. I assure you that problem will be rectified shortly on my end, and yes they will be read. I've seen quite a few of the rather odd questions on here that I could answer easily with my limited knowledge on these boats.

Agreed...best thing I ever did four years ago was get my Seloc OMC manual...these drives are NOT hard to maintain and work on. Don't let the ignorant masses tell you OMC is unreliable or fault prone!

I agree. As a new Evinrude owner, I'm was pretty ignorant but having ordered an applicable service and parts manual, whole new vista's have opened up. It makes a whole lot more sense now and is proving to not be that difficult to work on it. Best money spent!!
