Re: [OMC-Boats] Cooling issue

Oh no problem Bill, I took no offense. And thanks for the picture, it
confirms that what I did was correct. But it leaves me with a big
question. With the garden hose hooked to the boat, and the engine
running, should I have flow through both of those clear hoses? Because
I didn't. On the drivers side, I had good constant flow. On the
passenger side, I had no flow. It looked like water was "percolating"
for lack of a better word. It looked just like the glass top of and
old coffer percolator. You could see water burbling up out of the
intermediate housing, but it never filled the hose. Just sort of
perc'd in the first 2 inches or so of line. So do I have an issue? I
tried revving it to about 1500 in neutral, but no change in the lack
of flow on the passenger side hose. I let it idle a few minutes, maybe
5 or a bit more, and the flow never improved. I did start hearing a
squealing noise from the fan area that I'm currently praying is worn
belt and not an impending seizure.

So what say the wise old list? Do I have a problem? And if so, what
could possibly cause this?
